Lavender Soap

The lovely scent of lavender immediately brings to mind the lavender fields of Provence, France. Lavender is one of the most widely used plants and is known for its calming properties, beautiful fragrance and lovely purple colour.
Our Lavender Soap is made with, among other ingredients, olive oil that has been infused with plenty of dried lavender. This means that the oil has absorbed some of the properties and fragrance of the lavender. Lavender essential oil is also added, making this a soap full of real lavender.
I grow the lavender myself in our garden.

Lavender Soap with Kaolin Clay
Our Lavender Soap is also enriched with kaolin clay.
Kaolin clay is gentle on the skin and can absorb excess oil. This makes it particularly interesting for those with dry or sensitive skin, as kaolin helps remove excess oil without drying the skin too much.
Kaolin clay is a lovely skin cleanser and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.

The soap produces a rich lather and is enriched with Lavender essential oil.

This gives the soap a wonderful fragrance from this beautiful essential oil.

Lavender oil has a beautiful floral scent and is traditionally associated with relieving stress, anxiety and feelings of depression, soothing tired muscles and promoting a restful night’s sleep.
Lavender oil and the skin
Lavender oil is traditionally valued in skincare for its properties. It may help reduce inflammation, has antibacterial properties and may help with blemish-prone skin.

Other ingredients include olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and castor oil.
