Orange Soap

Orange Soap is a very refreshing soap for the hole body. It has a mild exfoliating feeling as we have added dried orange peel to the soap. The soap is also enriched with turmeric, which gives this soap a silky feeling. The orange is from local farmers in the municipality of Mogán where we live. In Mogán farmers are well known for growing mangos, avocados, oranges, papaya and other fruits and vegetables.

This soap has been enriched with turmeric, a very well know ingredient to improve the skin and it health. These are some of the benefits of turmeric for the skin:

Orange Soap is enriched with three essential oils, Sweet Orange essential oil, Clary Sage essential oil and Litsea Cubeba essential oil and the soap has a wonderful scent of these powerful oils.

Each of the essential oils have benefits for body and mind.

Sweet Orange essential oil benefits:
Often used in aromatherapy to create a cheerful and uplifting atmosphere reduce stress, reduce pain and inflammation. For skin properties, Sweet orange essential oil can acts as a gentle cleanser that help tighten pores and regulate oil production and reduce acne.

Clary Sage essential oil benefits:
Clary sage essential oil is renowned for its stress- and anxiety relieving properties.
And has an antibacterial property.

Litsea Cubeba essential oil benefits:
The plant of Litsea Cubeba, also know as May Chang, has been used for hundreds of years in China in medicinal teas. The herb is used in traditional Chinese medicine to help menstrual complaints, digestive discomfort, muscular aches, and motion sickness. It provides good cleansing properties.
It has a very fresh, citrus and fruity scent, and is a very uplifting essential oil. Litsea Cubeba essential oil is know for being anti-inflammatory and can keep insects away. Personally it is my favorite scent of all essential oils I use.
