Calendula Soap

Calendula is known to moisture the skin and keep it hydrated. Calendula can also help for healing wounds and soothing eczema. To add Calendula to our soap, we have infused a lot of dried Calendula into the the olive oil and left it there for weeks, so all it properties of the calendula are transferred to the olive oil.

The Calendula Soap has Lavender Soap is also enriched with Kaolin Clay. As a mild clay, kaolin is gentle on the skin and can absorb excess oil. This is great for those with dry or sensitive skin since the kaolin helps to remove oil without drying the skin too much. Kaolin clay is a great skin cleanser and gives a silky feeling when used at skin. We have also added turmeric to this soap, an ingredient with a lot of skin benefits.

This soap has been enriched with turmeric, a very well know ingredient to improve the skin and it health. These are some of the benefits of turmeric for the skin:

Calendula  soap has been enriched with Litsea Cubeba essential oils and the soap has a wonderful scent of this powerful oil.

Litsea Cubeba Essential oil benefits:

The plant of Litsea Cubeba, also know as May Chang, has been used for hundreds of years in China in medicinal teas. The herb is used in traditional Chinese medicine to help menstrual complaints, digestive discomfort, muscular aches, and motion sickness. It provides good cleansing properties.

It has a very fresh, citrus and fruity scent, and is a very uplifting essential oil. Litsea Cubeba essential oil is know for being anti-inflammatory and can keep insects away. Personally it is my favorite scent of all essential oils I use.

Other ingredients are Olive oil, coconut oil, Shea butter, Mango butter, avocado oil and castor oil.
